EDTA Chelation Studies
Fifty-seven patients were evaluated objectively for cerebral vascular arterial occlusion before and after an average of 28 intravenous infusions of disodium ethylene diamine tetraacetic acid (EDTA). Measurements of arterial occlusion were made with the relatively simple, noninvasive oculocerebrovasculometric analysis. Cerebrovascular arterial occlusion diminished by an average of 18% (from a mean of 28% to a mean of 10%) following therapy (P<0.001).
